AI, High Vibration and You
Hi there,
It seems that everyone on LinkedIn is talking about AI these days. So, I thought I’d join the party and throw my own perspective into the mix.
A more soulful perspective.
It seems that most people perceive AI as a tool to help us make massive improvements in productivity. I see posts detailing techniques and tips to transform the way we work. I see statistics on how AI can help us reach our goals in no time at all. How it can help us be more creative, save more money, reduce time to market and in doing so produce even better quality work.
It really is a game changer from that point of view.
But there are some worries that come with this new force of intelligence.
The biggest concern being how it will affect the future of work. What will the job landscape look like for our kids coming out of university in the next few years? I can see that it’s already replacing many jobs in the design, writing, photography and video making industries. And it’s bound to affect pretty much every knowledge worker at some point in the not too distant future.
There are also the concerns about the impact AI will have on us individually. I read one report that suggests AI is already reducing our critical thinking skills.
But for all the pros and cons of AI, I think there’s a still a big point being missed.
The real AI shift isn't about how much more productive we can become. Or what we stand to lose. The big shift is about what we'll finally be forced to find.
Our true selves. Our authentic nature. Our inner frequency. That’s because the one thing that no algorithm can replicate is our innate sense of being and becoming.
The Great Externalisation
When you think about it, using AI is basically like externalising our intellectual capabilities. It is pure logic, synthesis, and memory on a grand scale. It’s incredibly effective at these tasks. The problem is that this type of reasoned, logical thinking is stripped of all essence.
Outsourcing your thinking to AI is fine as long as you realise that you’ll have access to the world's most brilliant left hemisphere, but with none of the intuition, deep knowing and soul of the right hemisphere.
That means if you rely on AI to do lots of your thinking to guide lots of your actions, at work or at home, you will be moving through the world influenced by only half the story.
You will have access to information but without the love. You will get sound advice but without the compassion. You will will get factually correct answers (if you push AI for its sources) but without the gifts of imperfection that you’d normally find from within.
The point being that outsourcing your thinking also means leaving behind that indefinable right hemisphere quality that makes you, you.
Now this may seem like a weakness. Or at least a warning sign - which it is, of sorts. But dig a bit deeper and you can see how this insight opens up a really interesting question: what part of me and my thinking can never be outsourced?
The answer to that question can never be provided by AI. We have to find that for ourselves. I believe the biggest part of our make-up that can never be outsourced is our inner guidance system. This is the subliminal energy that motivates us. It’s the power behind the intuitive thoughts that drive us forward.
We all have this in-built guidance system. It draws us towards certain types of people, activities and situations.
To better understand what part of our thinking can never be outsourced by AI we have to answer one question all by ourselves; what is it I truly desire?
In other words, what energises me?
When Strategy Becomes Suffocating
One of the big problems, as I see it, is that we’re not entirely sure how to answer that question as we’re not entirely sure what we want. We tend to jump to solutions rather than digging into to the vibration of the desire. For example, we might think we want more money. But money is just a solution to, say, the deeper energetic rumblings of a lack of security. Money is a solution (and just one solution) to the desire for more security.
The same is true when we think we want a new romantic partner. The new partner is a potential solution to the vibration of wanting to be valued.
The problem with us jumping to solutions before diving into the deeper desire is that we start trying to find ways to make the solution happen.
We think we want more money. So we ask Chat GPT “How do I make more money?” and out pops some answers. “I want to make my business more efficient. How do I do that, Claude?” More answers. “What’s the best way to sell more products?” More answers.
AI is a killer application in finding answers to our questions. It’s ideal in providing us with endless strategies. But if we’re asking it the wrong questions, we’ll find nothing but more and more things to do. And in the process of ‘doing’ find we’re moving further and further away from ‘being’ the person we need to be.
The net result; AI will burn us out with strategy and we’ll never find fulfillment of we truly desire. It will give us no end of ideas to make our lives and businesses more productive and optimised. It will give us endless lists and frameworks for us to chase money, love, and the perfect body, if that’s what we ask for. But in chasing AI’s suggestions we will feel drained, disconnected and strangely worse off that before.
The only way we can discern our inner most desires is through self-knowledge. That can only come from you. Not AI.
As you probably know, I’m a big fan of a structured morning routine. You may have seen the 30 day morning routine challenge I created. This is a way of starting your day on the right foot. It’s a way of better understanding your inner most desires. It’s a way of tapping into your inner guidance system and setting your vibration at a high point in order to meet the challenges of the day. It’s a way of establishing "Who am I going to be today?" before setting about the to-do list and working on “What do I need to do?”
It's an immensely practical way of accessing the wisdom of your true self and your right-hemisphere’s intuitive mental nudges. It’s a way of being you in an AI dominated world where thinking and solving are increasingly automated, autonomous and soulless.
The Vibrational Marketplace
And here’s why I think all this is important….
Inner frequency will eventually be the new currency.
In a sea of AI-generated sameness, where anyone can create a business, write a book, automate tasks, work out how to do stuff and find answers to virtually every question, people will be drawn to presence. To authenticity. To wholeness.
The new differentiator isn't what you do. It's the frequency you do it in.
You can't outsource your inner human frequency. You can't delegate soul.
The people and businesses who truly resonate with me aren't necessarily the most technically skilled. They're the most authentic. The most aligned. The most willing to show up as themselves, fully.
When you operate from genuine essence, the world starts to bend to meet you. Opportunities appear. Connections deepen. Things flow in ways that pure AI inspired strategy can never achieve.
The Middle Road; Integration, Not Replacement
But here’s the clever bit. This isn't about rejecting AI. It's about using it consciously.
Don’t use AI to simply replace your logical thought processes. Using AI this way diminishes you and your power. Use it, instead, to enhance the transmission of your unique vibrational frequency. Using AI this way allows you to harness its incredible power to amplify your own authentic expression.
There's a narrow middle road to find here. Use these fantastic AI tools, but don't let them use you. Let AI handle the execution while you focus on your essence. Let it organise and outline, but rarely initiate.
Spend your energy observing what's happening inside you. Learning to identify and trust your authentic, inspired intuition. Allow yourself to be enthused and act upon the ideas that arise and truly make you feel alive.
This is a new soul-led, tech-supported way to express your unique value to the world.
Your Irreplaceable Frequency
The truth is that you don't have to outwork or out think AI. You can’t. You just need to out-resonate it. Out-humanise it.
Your lived experience, your unique skills, the person you've become - it's all intelligently designed. The difficulties that you’ve encountered and overcome. The in-built desires that spurred you on and sparked your growth. The quirks of character that became your attractive superpowers.
This is your vibrational frequency. Your resonance. Your soul signature that no AI can generate or replicate on your behalf.
In a world where anyone can create anything instantaneously, what becomes rare is you. Not the perfect version of you. Not the optimised version of you. Just you. Imperfect you, showing up fully, vibrating at your authentic frequency.
That's where I see the next AI revolution happening. That's the currency we can all aim for. That's how we grow whilst staying human in the age of AI.
Artificial Intelligence …. meet Authentic Inspiration.
Until next time,
Simon
